Well, that is no longer a question, because last weekend I was treated to "Nabucco" at the Lyric Opera of Chicago . (Side note, I just looked up their web page to add in the link and one of their top choices on their site is Planned Giving. Impressed, and not surprised). Although this time it wasn't Aida, and there were no Jackal headed women, (instead, lots of funny red hats on warriors that reminded me of puppy dog ears), we had a great time.
